African Buffalo, Syncerus caffer Photographed in Aberdare National Park, |
#C29-14 | |||||
The buffalo is considered by many to be the most dangerous African mammal (excluding Homo sapiens). Although strictly herbivorous, it is unpredictable and can be very aggressive. It weighs up to 1800 pounds (800 kg). This animal is the least threatened of the "big five"; large herds can still be seen in several national parks and reserves.
This photograph is available as an 11x16" signed print, archivally mounted and matted or archivally framed in black metal. Mounted size is 17"x22" (43x56 cm).
